What would happen if Gilbert and Sullivan clubbed together with Rogers and Hammerstein to rewrite Phantom of the Opera in Spanish? Ok apart from needing a time machine, and lets leave aside the potential for that mix to go horrendously wrong, but assuming such a mix came out with the best of all worlds, thats kinda what you have with Zorro. An engaging story, fantastic staging, catchy music (most of the group numbers are covers of Gipsy Kings songs like Bamboleo), stage illusions (mostly bodyswaps) and more flamenco dancing than Iapos;ve seen in total in my life before watching this show. Zorro very definitely doesnapos;t take himself sersiouly (scriptwise I mean - as an actor he was fantastic) with responses like: "what took you so long?" "Well you try finding 7 zorro costumes in this place".

As usual I have gone straight for the music and am actively looking for any hint of score/sheet music for the more simple solo songs. As it only opened in July itapos;s unlikely to be out yet, but if anyone spots it let me know. Meanwhile, everyone go see it Currently at the Garrick, was meant to be a short run but itapos;s been extended into 2009 so no excuses. Well worth it.

Seeing you, it wasnapos;t the same. It was a cold windy night. You wanted the love you didnapos;t deserve, so i didnapos;t return it to you. You treated me so well last night, but before it was nothing alike. As you walked away with your friends you ask, arenapos;t you coming along? I answer, no im staying here. You ask for one more hug...you dont get one.

Im sorry, but you deserve this.
im treating you like you once treated me...

It will never be the same.

But it also equals the ouch. In effort to distract me from me sliding kneecaps, and the sensation of breaking up joint scar tissue, Iapos;ve enacted Senseiapos;s old push-up plan. At least kind of, although instead of doing push-ups every hour, Iapos;ll be doing push-ups with my PT, twice a day. Now Iapos;m doing wall push-ups, because, well my legs arenapos;t strong enough to safely hold my knees in, my kneecaps donapos;t like to bend and be on the floor, and my arms are out of shape.

Weapos;ll see how long this lasts but Iapos;m tempted to throw in some sit ups too. Probably in another week or so Iapos;ll also join the campus gym, so I can do some biking. Maybe in a few weeks when I can rotate the whole 360 degrees, Iapos;ll go get my bike from Shawnapos;s storage unit.

Nothing like pain and physical therapy to make me want to get in a shape (note not even good shape, but something).

Also if anyone has any recommendations for snazzy looking knee supports please let me know. The therapistapos;s recommendation was to just wrap both knees or support them for hiking and "dancing (aka hooping and wrestling). I did make it through most of my excercises without my kneecaps wandering about so thatapos;s nice.

Anyone in SLO have a recumbent stationary bike?

Nywuah.

....

Nywuahhhhhh. Nyaaaa. NYAAAA. NYAAAN.

..nyaaa.

..nya.

..ya. So anyways

Iapos;m tired No, my name is not tired. Iapos;m just tired.
Todayapos;s friday. Itapos;s All-day-lecture-day-of-the-week day. I actually SATTHROUGHIT and Understood SOMETHING. And itapos;s not just anything. Itapos;s something MY maths teacher nyanyanya about. God, you donapos;t understand how hard she is to understand sometimes. Sheapos;ll be like. Jump to this point, then referring to another point while calling the other point "That point". So in the end i end up wondering "Whatever the hell is "That point"?" a couple of times. Nonetheless, with much much help from common sense, I got it. Some, at least. Worst come worst I get better teachers.

And there was that Digital Electronics. Quite easy. Very fun. Should be able to survive through Fridays.

Iapos;m trying to inspire myself to atten Lectures more often than not. And tutorials. And finding ways to survive through it and not run away like I usually do. And atlending ctures (even though I go to school to study) is the last thing i will resort too if it can be helped. Right now. SOME is fun. I hope it contiunes that way.

I wore full Bogu today.
And i realized how nyuah I am. Like. Soft soft. Poke-poke-can-make-a-dent-in-my-bone-like soft. It was tiring
sufferingish
Painful, to say the least
But Iapos;m really glad I trained today. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Especially when you feel your shinai hitting something else that ainapos;t you and you have to hit hard. I suck at keiko. I diededededededed. Now i understand what Susu meant by "Stamina".

Ah, falling asleep and I forgot what I wanted to type.

Oh yes.I got my Zekken today. ^^:;;; So ya.

Now my ankle hurts all over again, and I really really feel that weakness growing. It needs to stop.

And my mom calls me fat. ~____~

Well it takes one to know one.
